Obverse description Intaglio portrait vignette of Sun Yat-sen at left, rendered in fine engraved detail against a guilloche underprint. The central field carries a large multicolour rosette medallion with the Chinese characters for 'Two Yuan' in the centre, flanked by denomination numerals in the corners. Red serial numbers appear across the top, with issuer inscription in Chinese characters and two red seal stamps at lower left and right.

Reverse description Central vignette presents an intaglio landscape scene of a traditional Chinese temple complex set among mature trees, with a garden pathway leading to the structure. A large circular watermark reserve occupies the left field, and the numeral '2' appears within an ornate guilloche panel at right. The year '1941' is printed at the base, flanked by two facsimile signatures above their respective titles, with the printer's imprint at the foot.
