背面描述	Violet-brown print on plain ground with intricate guilloche lacework filling the entire field. A central vignette presents the Bank of Chinan's multi-storey Western-style building, flanked by large numeral 2 medallions at left and right. The English inscriptions BANK OF CHINAN and TWO YUAN appear above and below the central vignette respectively, with the year date 1939 at the foot.
