The centre is occupied by a large guilloche medallion with the numeral 2, inscribed TWO YUAN beneath, flanked by two columns of Chinese signature characters. To the right, an oval vignette encloses a view of a building set among trees; the numeral 2 appears in all four corners, and the year 1945 is printed at the lower left. |
