正面描述 Steel-blue intaglio print over a fine guilloche underprint; the central vignette presents a landscape view of Baota (Pagoda) Hill in Yan'an, Shaanxi province, with the multi-storey pagoda rising above rocky terrain, set within an ornate cartouche with traditional scroll-work borders. Denomination numerals '貳圓' appear in guilloche rosette panels to the left and right, with the bank title '中國人民銀行' in a decorative panel at the top centre. The year inscription '一九五三年' is placed at the foot alongside the serial number.

备注

The second series of Renminbi was printed entirely in the Soviet Union by Goznak — an arrangement that reflected both China's alignment with Moscow in the early 1950s and the limited capacity of domestic Chinese printing infrastructure at the time. The political relationship underpinning that contract would cool within a decade, making this series a direct artifact of the Sino-Soviet alliance at its warmest.

The "Printed: 30.04.1945" date in the catalog data is almost certainly a database error — 1945 predates the People's Republic itself.
