Obverse description Bare-headed bust of King George V of Hannover facing left, with naturalistically rendered hair and a short beard, the truncation bearing the engraver's signature. The surrounding legend reads GEORG V. G. G. KOENIG V. HANNOVER, separated from the effigy by a fine inner border. The mint mark B appears at the bottom of the field below the bust truncation. The entire design is contained within a beaded border.
