| Obverse description | Draped bust of Ahmad Shah Qajar in three-quarter view facing slightly left, wearing a distinctive Qajar military uniform with epaulettes and a tall lambskin kalpak surmounted by an aigrette plume. The effigy occupies the central field with the AH date ۱۳۳۱ divided to either side of the portrait. The rim is bordered by a continuous beaded circle. |
