| Obverse description | Central square frame containing a multeline Devanagari legend invoking the royal name and titles of Prithvi Bir Bikram Shah, with a central medallion depicting a trident (trishula) flanked by stylized floral and religious ornaments. Decorative dot clusters and crescent-shaped symbols fill the spandrels to the left and right of the square frame. Above the frame, outside the border, appears the auspicious Devanagari invocation Sri Sri, and below the frame the Vikrama Samvat date in Devanagari numerals. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |
