| Obverse description | Central device comprises a large Flaming Pearl rendered in relief, depicted as a spherical orb enveloped by radiating flames and supported by cloud scrollwork, occupying the center of the field. Four large Sino-Vietnamese characters (保大寳鑑) are arranged symmetrically in the four quadrants surrounding the central motif, reading clockwise. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. Two suspension holes are pierced at the top and bottom of the coin, consistent with use as a charm or amulet. |
