Aanvullende informatie

Bảo Đại's reign was largely administrative fiction — France retained full monetary and fiscal control through the Banque de l'Indochine, and coins issued under his name circulated alongside French Indochinese piastres with no meaningful distinction in purchasing power. This piece belongs to a category of Vietnamese imperial coinage that was ceremonial in function far more than commercial, produced in limited quantities and rarely encountered in circulation wear as a result.
