Reverse description Quartered oval coat of arms of Hesse-Cassel set within an elaborate baroque cartouche, surmounted by a large electoral crown. The four quarters display the arms of Hesse (lion), Katzenelnbogen (star), Diez (lion), and Ziegenhain (nettle leaf), with a central inescutcheon bearing the Nidda arms. A crossed-hooks mint mark appears at the top of the field, flanked by the ornate scrollwork of the baroque frame. The encircling Latin motto legend FATA CONSILIIS POTIORA runs around the periphery within a raised inner border.
