Above the throne, two patron saints of Eichstätt — S. WILI(bald) at left, vested as a bishop with mitre and crozier, and S. WALB(urga) at right — emerge from clouds in heavenly glory. Between the two saints, a radiant All-Seeing Eye within a triangle emanates rays of divine light, emphasizing celestial governance during the interregnum. The circular legend reads CAPITULUM EYSTETTENSE REGNANS SEDE VACANTE, with the date divided 17 — 90 and the fineness statement V EINE FEINE MARK inscribed in the lower field. The design is finely engraved in the late Baroque style, with a milled border of raised beading encircling the entire composition. |

| Description du revers | A large spreading oak tree occupies the central field, its branches supporting fifteen heraldic shields representing the cathedral chapter's constituent families and affiliated territories of the Bishopric of Eichstätt. An additional shield appears below the trunk, completing the armorial display. In the background, a detailed panoramic view of Willibaldsburg castle and the surrounding landscape provides a topographical setting. The legend EX UNO OMNIS NOSTRA SALUS arcs across the upper field, with WILIBALDS-BURG inscribed in the lower exergue, identifying the episcopal fortress. The composition is richly engraved in the late Baroque manner, with fine detail in both the heraldic elements and the architectural background. |
