Description de l’avers Coat of arms of Lucerne on asymmetrical shield with scrolls, supported by two woodwoses (wild men) wearing wreaths on heads and around waists. The left woodwose standing, facing left, holding sword in right hand and holding crown above shield in left hand. The right wodwose sitting, holding palm leaf in right hand and supporting head with left hand. Laurel branch to behind, to the left. Ornate scrolls below.
