Reverse description Large, elaborately quartered coat of arms of the Electorate of Saxony, incorporating the numerous hereditary territories of the Wettin dynasty, surmounted by a row of five ornate crowned helmets with elaborate mantling and crest devices. The shield is flanked by decorative baroque scrollwork and foliage. The date appears within the legend at the upper left. The circumferential Latin legend reads: LANDG THVR MAR MISN INF ET BVRG MAGD, continuing the electoral titles from the obverse.
