Reverse description A floriated cross occupies the full reverse field, with the quartered Hohenzollern arms placed at the center intersection. A small heraldic shield of arms is positioned in each of the four angles formed by the cross. The date 1592 appears in the lower portion of the design, reading inward and divided by the mintmaster's symbol. The Latin legend, taken from Romans 8:31 — 'Si Deus pro nobis, quis contra nos' — commences at the lower left and proceeds clockwise around the periphery.
