| Obverse description | Elaborately engraved eleven-fold quartered coat of arms of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, supported on the dexter side by a wild man (Wilder Mann) holding a club, displayed within an ornate heraldic composition surmounted by five crested helmets with mantling. The date 16-25 is divided above the shield to either side of the central helm. The circular Latin legend runs along the beaded border, reading the title and name of Duke Frederick Ulrich. |
