Obverse description Bust of Ferdinand of Bayern facing right, portrayed in ecclesiastical or princely attire, occupying the central field. The surrounding legend reads FERDINANDVS D G ARCHIEP COLONIE EPISCOPVS MONASTERIENSIS, identifying him as Archbishop of Cologne and Bishop of Münster by the grace of God.
