Reverse description The elaborately quartered arms of Swedish Pomerania displayed on a large shield surmounted by multiple helmets bearing ornate crests, including a ducal crown and foliate plumes. Two fully armored knight supporters flank the shield to either side, each wearing plumed helmets. The composition is rendered in fine baroque engraving style. The legend MONETA. NOVA. ARG. DVCATVS. POMERAN. 1647 encircles the design, denoting this as new silver coinage of the Duchy of Pomerania.
