正面描述	Draped bust of Duke Christian I Louis of Mecklenburg-Schwerin facing right, wearing a voluminous curled periwig and armor with a lace cravat visible at the neck. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail on the wig curls and cuirass. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait, with the circumferential Latin legend reading in the outer field. A small ornamental floral device appears at the top of the legend break.
