Reverse description A highly detailed architectural elevation of Ulm Minster (Ulmer Münster) occupies the central field, depicted in precise Gothic Revival style with its soaring central tower flanked by nave buttresses and side aisles, rendered with exceptional engraving depth. The curved legend along the upper periphery reads ZUR ERINNERUNG AN D. WIEDERHERSTELLUNG / D. MÜNSTERS IN ULM 1871, commemorating the restoration of the cathedral. Below the architectural view, the denomination ZWEI THALER appears in straight capital letters across the lower field. The engraver's signature C. SCHNITZSPAHN F. is inscribed in small letters beneath the cathedral in the exergue. The reverse is bordered by a beaded rim matching the obverse.
