Obverse description Bare-headed effigy of Prince Carl of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen in left-facing profile, rendered in high relief with finely detailed hair. The truncation of the neck is plain and unadorned. The circumferential legend reads CARL FÜRST ZU HOHENZOLLERN SIGMARINGEN, separated by a stop, with the engraver's signature DOELL F. incused at the base below the bust. The field is smooth and the coin is bordered by a continuous beaded inner rim.
