| Obverse description | Central field bears the crowned arms of the Free City of Bremen — a quartered shield displaying the city's key symbol — supported on either side by a rampant lion in high relief. The crowned shield is rendered in fine baroque style with intricate heraldic detail. The date MDCCXXIII appears in the lower exergue beneath the arms. A circular legend frames the composition, divided between the upper and lower periphery of the coin. |

| Reverse description | The reverse features the Imperial double-headed eagle of the Holy Roman Empire, displayed with wings spread and each head surmounted by a separate crown, with a third imperial crown above the central junction. The eagle's breast bears an orb charged with a cross, and the wings are elaborately feathered in fine relief. Two crossed sceptres appear below the eagle's talons. The full titular legend of Emperor Charles VI circumscribes the design in a continuous circular inscription along the periphery. |
