| Obverse description | Square klippe flan struck in hammered silver. At the upper field, a three-line Latin inscription reads DEO / VINDICI / PATRIAE in bold relief. Centered in the lower portion of the die, a circular inner legend reads MONETA CIVITATIS CORONENSIS enclosing the city arms of Kronstadt: a crowned root with three roots issuing from a coronet, set upon a stylized wavy base. The date 16 - 01 is split to either side of the central circle. Ornamental foliate scrollwork decorates each corner of the klippe. |
