Reverse description Large, elaborately quartered and subdivided coat of arms of the Palatinate-Neuburg territories, surmounted by an ornate electoral crown, occupying the central field. The multi-quartered shield incorporates the arms of Bavaria, Palatinate, Jülich, Cleves, Berg, Veldenz, Sponheim, Ravenstein, and Mörs among others, all rendered in fine heraldic detail. The date 16-22 is divided by the shield, with the numerals appearing to either side. A circular inner border frames the arms, and the full Latin titular legend of the duke runs continuously within a beaded outer border.
