Reverse description The personal coat of arms of Grand Master Martin de Redin displayed centrally, consisting of a large quartered shield bearing a grid or fretty pattern (a lattice of horizontal and vertical bars), surmounted by a grand master's crown. The shield is flanked by ornamental scrollwork and set within a circular Latin legend. The overall heraldic composition is characteristic of the Order of Malta's coinage of this period, with a milled border encircling the design.
