Beschrijving voorzijde	Eight-pointed Maltese cross occupying the central field, struck in relief with pronounced concave points between the arms. The cross is set within a dotted inner circle, with the circular Latin legend running along the outer border. The overall design is characteristic of the hammered emergency coinage issued during the Grand Mastership of Jean de Vallette.
