| Reverse description | Central field depicts two clasped right hands (dextrarum iunctio), symbolising the pledge of faith and trust, flanked by foliate or scroll ornaments on either side. The date 1643 appears above the handshake in the upper field, and the mint initials T·Z appear below in the lower field. A small floral or cross device is positioned at the top above the date. The circumferential legend, reading in Latin around the full perimeter, is separated by star stops and conveys the motto of this emergency coinage issue. |
