| Beschrijving keerzijde | An elaborate central lotus blossom occupies the field, its ornate petals rendered in bold relief. Surrounding this central motif, arranged within the sectors formed by an outer eight-petalled lotus border, are the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism: a white parasol, a conch shell, a treasure vase, a victory banner, a dharma wheel, a pair of golden fish, an endless knot, and a lotus flower. Each symbol is carefully positioned within its own petal compartment, creating a symmetrical and devotional composition. The execution reflects the hand-hammered technique typical of Tibetan mint production of the early twentieth century. |
