| Reverse description | A highly detailed, naturalistically rendered leafy sea dragon (seahorse) occupies the central field, depicted in left-facing profile with its characteristic ornate fin appendages, dorsal fin, and segmented armoured body rendered in high relief. The creature is surrounded by sinuously curving seaweed and aquatic vegetation. The entire motif is enclosed within a circular ring formed by an elaborate border of engraved scrolling foliate and wave patterns that fill the broad rim, lending the composition a distinctly baroque character. |
