Obverse description	The obverse features the coat of arms of Samoa centrally positioned within a brushed field, depicting a quartered shield with a cross at chief, a coconut palm, and five stars representing the Southern Cross constellation, all ensigned by a cross and supported by two olive branches. The national motto 'FA'AVAE I LE ATUA SAMOA' appears on a ribbon beneath the shield. The legend 'SAMOA 2025' arcs above, flanked by the inscriptions 'ONE TROY OUNCE' to the left and '999 FINE SILVER' to the right, with the denomination '2 TALA' below. The entire design is framed by an ornate decorative border of stylised floral and geometric motifs in the Samoan tapa-cloth tradition.

Reverse description	The reverse presents a vivid colourised composition depicting two mermaids rendered in high relief against a textured, wave-patterned field accented with decorative tapa-cloth geometric motifs. The upper mermaid reclines gracefully with flowing, brilliantly coloured red-orange hair cascading across the upper field, her outstretched hand presenting a lustrous pearl. A second mermaid occupies the lower portion of the design, her golden upswept hair and colourised pink-and-purple scaled tail visible in the foreground, while deep blue flowing tresses of a third implied figure emerge at the lower left. The antique-finished silver background provides a striking contrast to the applied polychrome colouring, enhancing the mythological and oceanic atmosphere of the design.
