| Reverse description | Uniface blue reverse dominated by an elaborate engine-turned guilloche pattern composed of interlocking rosettes and geometric lathe-work filling the entire field. The large numeral '2' appears in intaglio at both left and right within the guilloche framework, while the three-line inscription 'BANCO DEL ECUADOR GUAYAQUIL' is centred in a cartouche at the middle of the design. The imprint 'American Bank Note Co. New York' runs along the lower margin. |
