Reverse description The reverse is printed in a single dark brown tone, dominated by an elaborate engine-turned guilloche design with four large symmetrical floral rosette panels surrounding a central cartouche. The central cartouche bears the three-line inscription BANCO DEL ECUADOR GUAYAQUIL in bold serif lettering, flanked by large numeral 2 counters set within the decorative framework. The American Bank Note Co. New York imprint appears at the lower border, and two cancellation punch holes are visible.
