Reverse description The province name 'GELRIA' (Gelderland) inscribed in two abbreviated lines across the center of the field, with a mintmaster's mark in the form of an ear of corn flanked by a rosette on each side positioned above the text. The date 1786 is placed below the provincial inscription. The design is spare and typographic, with no surrounding border legend, consistent with the imitation coinage produced for circulation in the Netherlands East Indies.
