Obverse description The field displays the abbreviated provincial name GELRIA arranged in two horizontal rows of four large capital letters across the center, reading GEL above RIA, with the date 1792 inscribed in the lower field. Three decorative devices appear along the upper rim: a six-pointed rosette to the left, a stylized arrow or plant motif at the center top, and a second rosette to the right. The design is stark and typographic in character, with no figurative effigy, relying entirely on bold lettering and ornamental symbols to identify the issuing province. The coin is struck within a plain inner border with a milled edge visible on the periphery.
