| 背面描述 | Central motif consists of a short floriated cross with splayed, foliage-tipped arms, enclosing a prominent rose at the center, all executed in the characteristic late-Gothic style of Burgundian Netherlands coinage. Four elaborate foliate ornaments fill the angles between the cross arms, lending the design a rich, decorative quality. The surrounding circular legend in Gothic uncial script is introduced by a rosette stop and records the date 1499. A beaded inner border separates the cross composition from the outer legend. The reverse composition is typical of the double patard coinage issued under Philip the Handsome for the County of Holland. |
