| Descrizione del rovescio | Highly stylised rendering of Athena Nicephoros enthroned in right profile, holding a spear resting on her right shoulder and a small figure of Nike (Victory) in her extended left hand, derived from the standard Lysimachos reverse type. A trident symbol points rightward beneath the throne. Two vertical columns of flattened pellets occupy the left and right fields — seven pellets in the left column and six in the right — representing the severely degraded and abstracted remnants of the original Greek legend, reduced to decorative pseudo-epigraphic elements characteristic of late Celtic barbarous imitations. |
