Obverse description Draped bust of King Frederik III facing right with long flowing hair, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The royal effigy is rendered in a Baroque portrait style typical of mid-17th century Scandinavian coinage. A Latin legend encircles the bust between the beaded circle and the beaded rim, identifying the king by name and his titles.
