| Obverse description | Uniface letterpress note printed in dark blue-black ink on plain white paper. A broad ornamental border panel of repeating floral and rosette guilloche motifs runs along the entire left margin, with a fine double-rule frame enclosing the text field and a narrow side column of vertical text at the right edge. The body carries a lengthy Norwegian-language depositary declaration in italic script, with the denomination stated in the upper left and the place and date 'Christiansand 1817' centred below the main text, followed by two manuscript signatures at the foot. |
