Reverse description Saint George on horseback, depicted in vigorous dynamic pose as he charges to the right, slaying a dragon beneath the horse's hooves with a raised lance. The composition is rendered in bold high relief with strong sculptural detailing to the armour, horse, and writhing dragon. The motto of the Order of the Garter, HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, arcs around the upper portion of the field, with the initials AP appearing to the right. The reeded border frames the design cleanly.
