| Reverse description | The reverse depicts the classical Benedetto Pistrucci design of Saint George on horseback, facing right, slaying the dragon with a broken lance. In the exergue, the numeral 65 appears to the left denoting the 65th anniversary of the Coronation, the date 2018 is centrally placed, and the initials B.P. appear to the right in tribute to the original engraver Benedetto Pistrucci. A sapphire coronation anniversary privy mark is incorporated into the design to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. |
