| Obverse description | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II after the third definitive portrait by Raphael David Maklouf, depicting the Queen wearing the George IV State Diadem, a pearl drop earring, and a pearl necklace. The hair is rendered in soft, naturalistic waves beneath the jewelled crown. The engraver's initials RDM appear incuse on the truncation of the bust.
