Obverse description Three fleurs-de-lis arranged in a triangular formation occupy the central field, with a royal crown featuring five arches positioned above them. The crown is rendered in fine detail with visible arches and a prominent cross finial at the apex. A circular legend runs along the periphery within a beaded border, identifying the monarch. The overall design is characteristic of late Ancien Régime French colonial coinage, engraved in the neoclassical style of the Paris Mint.
