| Obverse description | Central shield bearing the arms of the County of Gorizia: the upper half displays a rampant lion passant to sinister, while the lower half is divided by a diagonal band across horizontal stripes. The shield is set within an elaborate baroque cartouche with symmetrical foliate and scroll ornaments to either side, surmounted by a large imperial crown with cross finial. The coin field is plain and the rim is decorated with a continuous beaded border. |

The field within the cartouche is plain and the rim is encircled by a beaded border. |
