Obverse description Central shield bearing the arms of the County of Gorizia: the upper half displays a rampant lion passant to sinister, while the lower half is divided by a diagonal band across horizontal stripes. The shield is set within an elaborate baroque cartouche with symmetrical foliate and scroll ornaments to either side, surmounted by a large imperial crown with cross finial. The coin field is plain and the rim is decorated with a continuous beaded border.

Reverse description The denomination and date are displayed in three lines — '2 / SOLDI / 1801' — with the Günzburg mintmark 'H' beneath, all contained within a tall ornate baroque frame composed of scrolling acanthus foliage surmounted by a crown-like cresting at the top and volute scrolls to the sides, terminating in a foliate base. The field within the cartouche is plain and the rim is encircled by a beaded border.
