Reverse description Central oval shield bearing the quartered royal arms of Denmark-Norway, surmounted by a royal crown. The shield displays three crowned lions passant with nine hearts in the first and fourth quarters, a lion rampant holding an axe representing Norway in the second quarter, and three crowns representing the Goths in the third quarter, with a base segment featuring three additional crowns. The denomination numeral 2 appears to the left of the shield and the abbreviation S to the right. The date 1809 is inscribed in the lower exergual area. The circumferential Latin legend DANIAE NORVEGIÆ VAN . GOTH . REX runs along the upper periphery, with a fine milled border encircling the reverse.
