| Obverse description | Central field features the elaborate interlaced royal cypher of Christian VI (C6) in ornate script, surmounted by an open Danish royal crown with cross finial. The monogram is rendered in a flowing, intertwined cursive style occupying the majority of the flan. A circular Latin legend surrounds the device along the coin's periphery, abbreviating the king's full royal titles. The design is executed in moderate relief against a plain field, characteristic of early eighteenth-century Danish colonial coinage. |
