The mintmark appears below the date in the lower field. 附加信息	Norway's 2 Skilling denomination was already an anachronism by the time Carl XV authorized this issue. The skilling system had been under pressure since Norway adopted a decimal currency framework in 1816, and the country would abandon it entirely with the krone reform of 1875. These pieces were struck knowing full well they had perhaps five years of monetary life remaining.
