Obverse description Rectangular hammered gold flan with a beaded border framing the entire field. A prominent kiri (paulownia) crest occupies the upper portion, rendered in bold relief with characteristic three-lobed floral sprays. Below the crest, the denomination inscription '二朱' (2 Shu) is engraved in large, formal kaisho (regular script) Chinese characters, centrally placed and occupying the lower half of the field.
