At the centre of the reverse is a small stylized decorative device, likely a floral or cloud motif, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The rim is bordered by a continuous row of raised beads. The characters are boldly struck and dominate the design in a style consistent with Chinese imperial coinage of the late Qing period. |
