| Beschrijving keerzijde | A centrally placed palm tree divides the coin's field, with the four-digit date split on either side of the trunk in two pairs of numerals. The denomination TWO SHILLINGS appears in the lower portion of the field beneath the tree, while the issuer's name BRITISH WEST AFRICA arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border.
