Reverse description The reverse presents a multi-line royal titulature legend in bold Naskh-Thuluth Arabic script, densely arranged across the central field of the flan. The inscription names Shah Ismail I with his full honorific titles and the Safavid dynastic attribution, concluding with the mint name Sawah (Saveh) in the lower portion of the field. The calligraphic composition is characteristic of early Safavid royal epigraphy, with interlaced letterforms filling the available surface. No decorative borders or geometric ornaments are discernible beyond the script itself. The strike is irregular, as expected of hammered production, with portions of the legend partially off-flan.
