| Reverse description | Central field displays the denomination in two large Japanese characters '二錢' (2 Sen) arranged vertically. Above the denomination, the imperial chrysanthemum mon with sixteen petals is prominently displayed at the top of the field. Flanking the central inscription is an elegant wreath composed of paulownia branches on the left and oak or pine sprigs on the right, tied at the base with a decorative ribbon bow. The horizontal legend reading '五十枚換一圓' (50 pieces exchange for one yen) arcs across the upper portion of the field, with additional characters completing the exchange rate inscription. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner border and a dentilated outer rim. |
